Not sure if its allowed here, but if I may (mods), I would like to upload an example of the consistency of 3 man tackles here so everyone can see what the issue is. I'm surprised that on a site full of us sim heads, only a few of us notice that the play on the field lost the organic feel (once again immediately noticeable with the tackle physics). Its refreshing when you load up 22 after playing 21, however, the game is just not as organic as its predecessor. I really would like to get back into 22 as the game has a more smooth appearance (as far as framerate). If you've been playing 22, once you load up 21, you'll notice the difference immediately. and tackle avoidance system was jacked to hell. Additionally, to second what khalib stated, the A.I. RARELY will a second player interact on hits, NEVER a third player anymore. In Madden 21, in every single play you'd see a variety of 2 and 3 man tackles while in 22, 95% of the time there's only single man tackles now. EA Sports posted the new patch notes for Madden NFL 21 via its official website. Patches for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions are available plus changes have been made to the PC, PS4 and Xbox One iterations too. The patch should now be available on all platforms.
Madden nfl 21 patch update#
The easiest way to notice how the movement and interaction was nerfed is the tackle system. EA Sports has now released a new update to Madden NFL 21. It was a tad bit heavier when 22 first dropped but it was nerfed from the beginning. I have a bad memory so I can't remember but when Madden 22 first dropped was the player movement the same as or better than 21? I'm thinking about going and picking up a cheap physical copy of the game and playing it offline w/o any patches.
